PKF-FPM is an award-winning, client-focused chartered accountancy and business consultancy practice with offices in Newry, Belfast, Mallusk, Dungannon, and Balbriggan, Dublin North. Established in 1991, our firm is a leading provider of business and accounting services.

Ours is a young, dedicated, enthusiastic and future-orientated team whose energy and ability have contributed to PKF-FPM’s rapid growth and success. We currently have ten equity directors and over one hundred and twenty staff serving clients in many different sectors across the island of Ireland, North & South.

Recently Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant 



We wish to recruit a Recently Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant to join our team within our Balbriggan office. The successful candidate ideally will have:

• Relevant ACCA / ACA qualified or part qualified (or equivalent);
• Minimum of 12 months previous practice experience working in a busy office environment;
• Strong academics, be ambitious and career driven;
• Ability to manage their own workload; and
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualified Accounting Technician

 

We wish to recruit a Qualified Accounting Technician to join our team within our Balbriggan office. The successful candidate ideally will have:

• Relevant ATI Qualification (or equivalent);
• Minimum of 12 months previous practice experience working in a busy office environment;
• Strong academics, be ambitious and career driven;
• Ability to manage their own workload; and
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Trainee Chartered Tax Advisor (Permanent Full-Time)

 

The candidate will possess the following:

• Candidates will have achieved a minimum grade of a 2:1 in a relevant degree or equivalent;
• A drive to develop tax knowledge and pursue a career in tax;
• Strong academics, be ambitious and career driven;
• Ability to manage their own workload;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Ability to work as part of a busy highly motivated team.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to complete the Chartered Tax Advisor tax qualification with the Institute of Taxation in ROI. The successful candidate will assist with taxation compliance work in all areas including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, PAYE / PRSI and VAT. There will be opportunities to develop and progress to tax consultancy assignments.

Insolvency Case Worker / Administrator

 

We wish to recruit an Insolvency Case Worker/Administrator to join our Personal Insolvency team in our Newry office. The successful candidate ideally will have:

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
• Preparing and Processing paperwork relating to Individual Voluntary Arrangment (IVA’S)
• Liaising with key stakeholders including debtors and creditors;
• Updating internal systems with key information;
• Running reports for management & general admin support; and
• Managing incoming enquiries

Potential for future excellent role diversification for suitable candidate.

Essential Criteria:
• Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages;
• Knowledge and expertise of working in a busy office;
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
• Experience of communicating professionally;
• Ability to use initiative and problem solving techniques;
• Produce timely and accurate work to an acceptable standard; and
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills;

Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience of working within a Consumer IVA department

Experienced Bookkeeper

We wish to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to join our team within our Newry office.


Candidates should be a self-starter, motivated and able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively as a team member.

The successful candidate ideally will have:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a busy accountancy practice environment;
• GCSE’s with Grade C or above in Maths and English;
• Experience in the use of accountancy software e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks;
• Ability to manage their own workload; and • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
