PKF-FPM is an award-winning, client-focused chartered accountancy and business consultancy practice with offices in Newry, Belfast, Mallusk, Dungannon, and Balbriggan, Dublin North. Established in 1991, our firm is a leading provider of business and accounting services.

2019 Trainee / Placement and Summer Intern Intake

PKF-FPM prides itself in offering exceptional training to its trainees to mould such individuals into unique business people, offering hands on training ranging from accounts and audit, tax and business advisory.

We are delighted to offer the following:

  • Training Contracts to 2019 Graduates in conjunction with Chartered Accountants Ireland;
  • One Year Placement Opportunities; and
  • Summer Internships.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Candidates for these positions will have achieved or working towards a minimum grade of a 2:1 in a relevant degree;
  • Technically competent;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately;
  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise own workload within changing timescales and parameters;
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as a member of a team;
  • Able to ensure work outputs and standards are maintained;
  • Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.

HOW TO APPLY

TRAINEE CHARTERED TAX ADVISOR (Permanent Full-Time)

The candidate will possess the following:

 

• Candidates will have achieved a minimum grade of a 2:1 in a relevant degree;
• A drive to develop tax knowledge and pursue a career in tax;
• Strong academics, be ambitious and career driven;
• Ability to manage their own workload;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a busy highly motivated team.

 

The successful candidate will assist with taxation compliance work in all areas including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, PAYE / PRSI and VAT. There will be opportunities to develop and progress to tax consultancy assignments.

Administrator / Receptionist

 

We wish to recruit an Administrator/ Receptionist to join our team in our Mallusk office.

 

The successful candidate ideally will have:

 

• Minimum 2 years current experience in an administrative support role in a busy office;
• Previous Front of House/ Receptionist experience operating a busy switchboard;
• GCSE’s with Grade C or above in Maths and English;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
